Actually, out of the three things, cycling is the one I'm least worst at. I can't quite use the word 'best' to describe my cycling because I still effectively use stabilisers. Yes, unlike everybody else in the whole cycling world, I have to have my seat set so low that both feet can touch the ground at any time.
This apparently means that my cycling is very inefficient. It also means that I get a lot of comments along the lines of "I know your legs are short, but didn't realise they were THAT short".
I can feel an objective coming on.....
Objective #1 Cycle like a grown-up. Set the seat for the most efficient height.
The other day I did a mini triathlon which involved cycling a 14km course. It took me 53 minutes. I can tell you that I definitely cycled a lot faster than the <reaches for calculator> implied 16km/hr, because I got lost. Very lost. I can't tell you how far I cycled in total or my average speed because my speedometer had been broken by the people who charged me £60 to change my flat tyre.
I can feel another goal coming on....
Objective # 2 Get CS to change my flat tyre.
As this is all about triathlons and threes, I need a third goal. I can't decide if it's to shout at the bike-breaking people, buy another speedometer, or cycle a bit faster. Actually I think it's all three.
When? I'm not very good at timing. I'll come back to me.
